Landscape Architecture

Urban Design and Landscape Architecture are closely linked. Landscapes can exist in different ways. Traditional landscapes are green vegetated areas however urban building fabrics can also form landscapes. A built landscape can be made up of buildings or built elements and create views just as a vegetated landscape. A skyline of buildings is a landscape just as a mountain range is.

Landscape Architecture is informed by its surroundings and can only be developed in close collaboration with other professions.
